WHO ARE YOU FLOCKIN' WIT?

Birds of a feather...flock together! That is a true statement and depending on what you are doing or trying to accomplish, it may be a good or bad thing. This is a picture in my office with one of my favorite plants in the background. ( I do not know the name of it, so if you do, please let me know) I love birds and this picture conveys what I preach about when networking. Start flockin' with other birds and start to understand what they are all about. Stop going to your usual functions and start to go to the ones that make you a little nervous because you do not have a real clue on what it is about. I recently went to a summit on tourism that was about 30 minutes from my home and I gained so much knowledge on where I could go in the future and have fun and of course, meet new people. It was a rich experience. Just try it and when you do, let the people at the event know that this is new for you. They will embrace you! So, just turn your personality on 10 and go for it.
